Heilman Residence

Opened in 1985, and named after the pioneer in chemical dependency treatment, Richard Heilman, this Level II Board and Lodging residence was created to address the needs of homeless clients leaving the Prodigal House Program.

Since its inception, Heilman Residence has become transitional housing for men who are chemically dependent. In this loosely structured living environment many people have used the resources available to begin living a happy,
productive life.

Heilman Residence

Although Heilman Residence is utilized mainly for men coming from Prodigal House that need board and lodging services, it is also open to any males who fit the criteria for admission.

It is also used in conjunction with structured aftercare services which are utilized when a person continues having problem areas after leaving Prodigal House treatment.

Included in the board and lodging services we offer ongoing support to the residents, crisis counseling with the Prodigal House counseling staff, access to the Learning Center and anger management counseling.
