Special Groups

Prodigal House offers a variety of groups to address the special needs of the clients.

Anger/Domestic Abuse Group

The Anger Management Program has changed the perspective and behavior of the many clients who have participated in it. This program is important because many clients are court-mandated to receive professional help with anger issues.

On intake, clients are required to complete the "Anger Management Assessment." This assessment is evaluated by our Anger Management Counselors, and, when indicated, the client's placement in this six-week course is assigned.

We are a preferred Anger Management provider to Hennepin County.

Other Groups

For Stress Relief and Stress Management we offer Aerobics (four hours per week) and Acupuncture (twice weekly).
